Ok. I understand that smoking code slingers like the one's that Stardock employs, this judging by the excellent quality of GalCiv II, have important stuff to do. Like, getting ready to release that bad ass new title that Sales is already salivating about in order to make that $$$. Hell, I understand. I gots to pay my home-loan too, you know. So, if you would kindly pass this up to management it would be appreciated: IRON OUT THE GOSHDARN BUGS BEFORE YOU RELEASE THE FACTORY VERSION. Oh, and this one goes to Mr. Frogboy. Baaad move to get on your customer's case about their drivers. If you were to, hypothetically speaking of course, get on your customer's case about them updating their friggin drivers, I would suggest that you first of all make sure your friggin game is COMFIRIGGINPATIBLE with he newest drivers! Not an easy feat I'm sure. However, I think more than a few have purchased a Radeon in the past. So, tell management to test this baby on just a few Radeons before publishing. Bad idea, no? Just for general discussion I would like to add that the customer is usually always right. Lord have mercy. Next, don't delete the bug reports. Believe me, deleting the bug report does not make the problem go away. Only your customer. Look, you guys have an awesome game out there, ok. Otherwise I would not have bothered to whine for weeks in a row why exactly it is that when I click on the Ship Builder in Turn whatfrigginever the performance drops down to nadissimo. Bummer right. Yeah, bummer. Bottom line: Do not release in Feb if the Code isn't going to be perfect till May. And then please, for your own sake: If 50+ people get online and whine about the same issue then you probably have 500+ people out there too ticked off to go through the Stardock Central thingy to post dumb stuff like what I'm posting right now. In other words: Re: GalCiv II: KNOWN issue list. If you have bug reports that you can "count with your fingers" go ahead and multiply that number by 439 something and you might get a more realistic estimate. Those customers will just quit spending $$$ on Stardock games in the future.
